During the past 12 months of operation, daily ridership on Jakarta's Bus Rapid Transit system, TransJakarta, has nearly doubled to 65,000 passengers.... With car ownership rising sharply in Korea over the last 30 years, the vast bus system of Seoul has been increasingly losing street space and average speed, and consequently mode-share and revenue, to private automobiles.... Mexico City Mayor and presidential candidate AndrÈs Manuel López Obrador has announced that the city's first Metrobus corridor will open on June 19.... These and other sustainable transportation news are covered in the latest ITDP e-bulletin.
