Central Florida voters are skeptical of the increasing costs of commuter rail.
Republican Volusia County (central Florida) congressman John Mica has been working towards a commuter rail system in his region for over 15 years. Now he's finally got the federal and state funds to back up the proposal, but taxpayers don't want to foot the rest of the bill. "Half of the money would come from the feds, and a quarter would come from the state. The remainder, $118 million, would be divided by the four counties - Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Volusia." Will Mica be able to convince central Floridians to help pay for the 55-mile operation?
