Within one year of adoption of its Strategic Plan, the City of Largo, Florida has attracted a $145 million investment for development a mixed-use town center.
A $145-million mixed-use town center is being on the site of the failed Crossroads Mall in the City of Largo, Florida. The development would include 455,000 square feet of retail space, a 14-screen movie theater, 32,000 square feet of offices and 264 apartments. The City of Largo's Strategic Plan identifies the site as an activity center in order to concentrate development and limit sprawl.
