Manufacturing Group President Carl Guardino said the organization's 175 member companies have promised to throw their weight -- and financial muscle -- into convincing voters that a multibillion commitment to mass transit is the best and quickest way to solve Silicon Valley's transportation crisis. He estimated that an effective campaign will cost up to $2 million over the next 10 weeks.
