Housing choices are decreasing as the demand for senior housing is increasing.

The population of people older than 65 is growing steadily in the suburbs west of Portland, Maine. The trend is creating greater demand for an increased supply of "active adult communities." Towns that don't respond quickly will risk losing longtime residents.
