The City of Ventura, CA adopts an all-infill general plan, replacing it's previous plan from 1989.
The plan allows roughly 8,300 new residential units and nearly 5 million square feet of space for commercial and industrial use through 2025... Though the blueprint emphasizes first looking to the vacant and underutilized properties within the city for places to build, it does allow the conversion of 648 acres of farmland not protected by voter-approved growth laws.
More information about Ventura's General Plan is available from Ventura's Community Development department.
