Kristina Ford discusses what went wrong and how New Orleans should rebuild.

Kristina Ford was the Chief Planning Director for the city of New Orleans from 1992-2000. In an interview with Dave Davies, she explains the politics behind the construction and maintenance of the levy system and discusses some of the choices that national and local planners will have to face in response to hurricaine Katrina. Dr. Ford is currently a professor of environmental studies at Bowdoin College in Maine.
