Princeville is no New Orleans. There is no tourism economy, less historic architecture and no 'girls gone wild' partying. However, the tie that binds them together is the impact to residents who live at or below the poverty level and the questionable political response. New Orleans can probably learn a few tricks from this small rural community.

"Princeville showed that with government and private aid and determination of residents, a town can be rebuilt and made better."
