200 urban designers from around the world work to replan Missisippi coast.
Over 200 planners and architects - from as far afield as England and Norway - were in Biloxi last week to help local communities replan their futures in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Lead by prominent New Urbanist and INTBAU College of Traditional Practitioners member Andres Duany, the charrette participants worked night and day with residents, businesses and local mayors to plan a better future for the storm-wracked coast of Missisippi.
