Angeles National Forest Gets New Chief

Jody Cook is the new supervisor of Angeles National Forest. The 656,000-acre forest represents over one quarter of Los Angeles County's land.

A former official of Plumas National Forest near Lake Tahoe, Jody Cook is a 39 year old engineer. Cook says that one of her primary goals is to educate the public on how to respect the land. Angeles Forest has many competing interests and users come together. She feels well equipped for the job.
