"A group of young developers felt a need to give back to their community. Together they formed The Next Generation, a group of 10 men who set out to take a new approach to giving and to continue a tradition of philanthropy."

"While there are other groups who have launched initiatives, this project went beyond the more common approach of planning a fund-raising event. Once the team decided its goal was to create a home where people with disabilities could live independently, it established a budget based on what they thought they could raise for capital. The $600,000-plus project was a three-year undertaking for The Next Generation"
