"The fact that our president is bringing up these energy ideas now is a joke, when in fact they should have be acted upon many years ago..."

"With the growth of cities and their escalating cost of living, workers live farther from their jobs. When more than one person per household works, and mass transit isn't available, more people are forced to drive."

"President Bush in his State of the Union address said the United States needed to develop alternative fuels to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. The next day, the budget for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory was cut by $27 million. This is the laboratory that does the research on alternative fuels. Does anyone else see a problem with this action?"
