LAUSD has been conducting environmental tests on a Van Nuys property. A middle school is needed. A car dealership has purchased the site for storage.

A battle is brewing over a property in Van Nuys. The site has been purchased by the owner of a car dealership. Since his purchase, brokered by LA mayoral candidate Steve Soboroff, Bert Boeckmann has barred LAUSD from continuing its environmental tests. which must be completed before purchase or seizure under eminent domain.
