The Amherst Industrial Development Agency (NY) refused to consider giving tax breaks to Benderson Development and Ellicott Development, who plan to build a hotel in Williamsville. Agency directors voted to deny the request, claiming the $3.4 million hotel planned does not meet the criteria for obtaining IDA-induced retail projects tax incentives.
