Thinning Colorado's Forests

The US Forest Service want to double the thinning of Colorad's forests to prevent fire. It's called aggressive thinning.

U.S. Forest Service officials want to mechanically thin or burn 100,000 acres of Colorado forestland every year - double the current level - to reduce the likelihood of catastrophic wildfires.
