"Metro and city rankings compiled by Network Solutions, Inc. reveal several interesting patterns. In terms of the absolute number of registrations, it makes sense that the internet economy remains very much dominated by large urban centers, particularly on the coasts. By metro-region, the top places are also the largest centers of population, starting with Los Angeles - Long Beach, New York City, Greater Washington, Chicago and San Francisco."
