With Mayor Villaraigosa promising to address the city's traffic, newly hired General Manager Gloria Jeff has a lot on her plate. Arriving in Los Angeles with a wealth of state and federal experience, having recently run the Michigan State DOT and having served in the U.S. DOT under President Clinton, she now hopes to tackle the unique challenges presented by the sprawling city and its neighborhoods.
