YouTube hosts a video featuring host James May driving the new GM Highwire in the UK. The car runs using a hydrogen fuel cell, and doesn't include any mechanical linkages between the chasis and the driving cage, enabling the car shell to be removed within 15 minutes. The power cell doesn't require recharging, and contains enough power to power a small neighborhood. May estimates that the car will be in production within 15 years.
