Green Solutions For A Blue Planet: The ASLA 2006 Conference

From October 6-10, the American Society of Landscape Architects and the International Federation of Landscape Architects convened for their first joint conference. Environmental sustainability and the sustainability of the profession itself were major topics of discussion.

ASLA Conference Logo The ASLA 2006 Conference and IFLA World Congress, titled "Green Solutions For A Blue Planet" featured speakers such as Jean-Michel Cousteau, the son of underwater explorer Jacques Cousteau, and Kongjian Yu, Dean and Professor of the Graduate School of Landscape Architecture at Peking University and founder of the firm Turenscape.
