More than 100 cities have adopted "Silicon Valley"-type monikers. The high tech boom in many of these cities has pushed the urban infrastructure to the limit, and caused housing prices to skyrocket. A few years ago, many cities would have welcomed new technology companies. Now, residents of many high-tech hotspots have started a backlash against this technology growth. Cities want the jobs that technology brings, but what's the price if these cities just can't handle the growth?
