"Salt Lake City's Olympic organizers have learned nothing from previous Olympic transportation snarls and are dooming the region to gridlock by ignoring long-distance transit during the 2002 Games, critics say. Tom Price, head of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee's Environmental Advisory Committee, lambasted SLOC's transportation plan Thursday for counting on 95 percent of spectators to get to Park City and other far-removed venues in their own vehicles or rental cars. "
