The Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce has sued the City of Santa Monica for restricting parking in a commercial shopping district.

The City of Santa Monica, CA was sued by the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce to prevent the implementation of a new preferential parking zone that would restrict on-street parking by employees and customers of businesses in a 28-block shopping district containing more than 1,000 public parking spaces.
