Highway Project Aggravates Residents

Residents along U.S. 95 are looking for answers from the Nevada Department of Transportation.

The Nevada Department of Transportation is starting on the expansion of U.S. Highway 95. Adjacent homeowners have been waiting to hear if their homes will be bought out for the right of way, and many are trying to bail out now. Other nearby residents are concerned about living near the new 10-lane highway. Plans are for construction to begin in March, with completion slated for 2004.
