Disney begins monorail sneak previews of its new California Adventure Theme Park.
Disney began sneak previews of its new California Adventure theme park last weekend by driving the Monorail through the nearly finished area. The Monorail had stopped part of its run - through the old parking lot -- while the new theme park was being built. Disney spokeswoman Michele Nachum confirmed late Tuesday that the Monorail is making "periodic" runs through California Adventure. A Disney employee and a Disney expert said the Monorail is touring the new park mostly at night and likely will run through it this weekend. Disney won't officially confirm this; the times may vary. The new theme park is scheduled to open February 8th, and also includes a 800 Hotel and a Retail/Dining/Entertainment Complex.
