The report offers three possible routes for OCTA's CenterLine system that appear to address concerns of cities and residents.
"The CenterLine light-rail project would create traffic and noise in new areas, eat up existing parking spaces and force displacement of up to 142 businesses and homes, according to a report released Thursday by the Orange County Transportation Authority. But the Fullerton-to-Irvine project also would serve up to 82,500 people a day, improve air quality by taking cars off the road, and lessen noise and traffic in some areas, according to a summary of the CenterLine Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Report/Study. The full study is available for review today."
