Underground Freight Delivery In Germany

Too many trucks are tying up traffic. So the Germans are looking to an automated underground cargo capsule system.

Traffic backups sometimes stretch for 200 miles in the Ruhr River Valley in Germany. Trucks delivering goods are the culprits. So engineers are proposing to move underground for a faster freight delivery system, and remove the trucks from the highways. They have designed a system of automated underground cargo capsules, which will travel though pipelines.
