In thepast decade, funders have increasingly required nonprofits to includeassessments of their organizational capacity as a part of their grantapplications. Often, nonprofits have neither the time or resources forsuchassessments. The new workbook is designed to help these groups assesstheirown capacity, set goals for improving capacity, and repeat the processon anannual basis. The workbook may also be useful for funders andintermediaries that need a tool to assess the capacity-building needs ofthegroups they are funding. Copies are available from HAC for $4 each, including postage and handling. It will be posted free on HAC's web siteinthe near future.
