El Segundo's mayor is gathering a lot of support in the suburbs to fight LAX expansion.

He says that there is no mitigation for the problems of expanding LAX. The mayor of El Segundo, Mike Gordon, is seeking support for airport regionalization. Foes of Gordon say that he is misinformed and unrealistic and doing the area a great disservice. So far, 100 cities, counties, civic agencies and school districts have joined Gordon's coalition.
