"...the coast of Georgia, its beauty and ecology are being taken away by the developers...If that process, unleashed by consumerism, corporations anddevelopers, continues, Savannah is going to look and feel like Atlanta and other cities that are denuded of their green spaces and flavor, cities having traded away their individuality, beauty and culture...The purpose of zoning and planning is to weigh the benefit and harm of proposed projects. Do they promote healthy growth and improvementwithout damaging our city's heritage, natural beauty and integrity of our neighborhoods?"
