"Unfortunately, some urban myths are accepted as truth and cripple the economic health and vitality of central city neighborhoods. Specifically, I'm referring to the myth of the inner city as an undesirable place to do business due to the lack of purchasing power...But nothing could be further from the truth. Milwaukee's commercial districts offer many assets and opportunities for profitable investment. These districts are surrounded by densely populated residential neighborhoods that have a high demand for commercial goods and services."
