"Prepared by consultants McGill Martin Self Inc. of Walnut Creek, the $20,000 report contains demographic and socioeconomic data about El Cerrito and analyzes retail sales trends and office and hotel potential in the city.t says that about 13 percent of the city's retail sales potential is spent at businesses outside the city. In 1999 this "sales leakage" amounted to an estimated $32 million according to the report."
