After years of flight, whites are moving back into Atlanta, GA.
"The unstoppable growth in northern Georgia has finally spilled into the city of Atlanta, reversing a population decline that began in the 1970's and shifting the city's demographics, the latest census figures show.Between 1990 and 2000, the city of Atlanta grew to 416,474 from 415,219 people, an increase of three-tenths of 1 percent. But just as surprising to demographers was the fact that much of the growth was the result of whites moving back to the city after years of flight."
