In an effort to increase homeownership opportunities in immigrant communities across the country, the Fannie Mae Foundation and Georgetown University's Institute for the Study of International Migration have published a new handbook, Reaching the Immigrant Market: Creating Homeownership Opportunities for New Americans. Based on research of 20 financial institutions and innovative case studies, the handbook identifies effective practices that can serve as models for the industry to reach this virtually untapped market.
