It's an $80-million plan in the mid-city district in Los Angeles on 11.9 acres between Pico, San Vicente and West boulevards. Opponents are concerned about the presence of methane and other flammable gasses at the site. Other concerns include an increase in traffic on the area's streets and no landscaping.
