More than 20,000 acres of open space on the San Mateo County coast will be preserved as part of a massive land conservation effort funded by what are believed to be the largest grants ever made to a local land trust.Peninsula Open Space Trust, a private non-profit group based in Menlo Park, announced Wednesday that its $200 million campaign will be partially funded with two gifts of $50 million each from the David and Lucile Packard Foundation and the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation....
