The EcoComplex is "designed to help companies develop new technologies to deal with pollution...[It] is a "model of environmentally friendly architecture. Huge windows on the south side of the green-colored building allow sunlight to pour into an atrium. Yellow solar screens arranged like scaffolding alongside the windows help moderate the summer's sun, while allowing the winter's sun to reach the special floor slabs inside that help heat the building."
