A burgeoning biotechnology industry, anchored by the Texas Medical Center, the nation's largest medical complex, has begun to emerge. More surprisingly, information industry jobs are also increasing, in part to feed an increasingly sophisticated energy industry that is dependent on technology to keep its cutting edge."
