The city of Vancouver is going to begin requiring that a certain amount of electric car charging stations be included in all new residential developments.
"Under the plan approved Thursday, developers must include plug-ins for electric cars in at least 20 per cent of parking stalls in new condominium and apartment buildings, along with some city-owned parking lots."
This rule doubles the original proposal to require 10 percent electric charging stations.
