A study finds that New York City is way down the list of the nation's worst traffic problems.

"Where the average resident of those metropolitan areas loses more than 50 hours a year to traffic delays, New Yorkers lose an average of 34 hours a year, the study found. This put the nation's largest city in the unusual position of coming in 23rd in something unpleasant. (Los Angeles, of course, was the enduring emblem of vehicular immobility.)"
