Students at U.C. Berkeley win an affordable housing design competition sponsored by Bank of America.

"Six University of California at Berkeley graduate students have part of the solution: Build a 70-apartment project in Oakland's downtown, less than two blocks from a BART station in a city with projected employment growth. Their plan took top honors over two other entries last week at the Bank of America's annual Affordable Housing Challenge. It was the second consecutive year a Cal team has won."
