"Better regional planning, expanded redevelopment, greenspace preservation programs and improved public transit could help Greater Cincinnati rein in the negative effects of decades of suburban sprawl, a new report on growth in the tri-state concludes.The report, released today, contends that Greater Cincinnati's quality of life has suffered due to the signs of sprawl - increased traffic congestion, disappearing open space, crowded schools, air pollution and a deteriorating city center - found in most other major American metropolises."
