"Knowing it could be lampooned as "T-wrecks" by some, transportation officials revealed the new name Thursday for the $1.67 billion southeast corridor light-rail and highway expansion project: T-REX. T-REX, which could take seven years to build, includes 19 miles of light-rail construction and a major widening of Interstates 25 and 225." The project's website will offer real-time information on construction, highway speeds, traffic bottlenecks, weather and other conditions.
