"Just five months until the Trinity Railway Express makes its first stop in downtown Fort Worth. "That's our plan," deputy project manager Ken Frost said of meeting the deadline, his voice betraying no hint of uncertainty. Commuter trains made their first stop in Tarrant County last year when stations at CentrePort/D-FW Airport, Hurst Bell and Richland Hills opened. The Fort Worth Transportation Authority operates the commuter line with Dallas Area Rapid Transit. Trains chug along 27 miles of track right now and will travel the seven-mile extension to downtown Fort Worth beginning Oct. 29."
