In another unsurprising study, California's roads and highways are ranked nearly last, and said to be the worst in urban areas.

The poor condition of our roads has led to more expensive commutes for car commuters. Nationally, the poor condition of our roads costs drivers $335 a year. In Los Angeles, that number is $746."
