New Harvard Campus Postponed Indefinitely

After halting construction on a science center in Allston months ago, Harvard has announced that the project will be postponed for the foreseeable future.

"Harvard University has confirmed that it will halt construction on its planned $1 billion science center in Allston and said it's looking for tenants for 100,000 square feet of space that had been reserved to support construction in the neighborhood."

University president Drew Gilpin Faust said, "Harvard will upgrade its vacant properties in Allston and seek leases for up to 10 years in some cases."
