Parks officials in Austin, Texas are considering a plan that would allow cell phone companies to lease space within the city's parks where they could build cellular communication towers.
The move is seen by some as an invasion of space. But others call it a way to save parks funding.

Hensley has been looking for ways to generate more revenue for Parks and Recreation, which like most city departments has cut vacant positions and some services over the past few years because of a city budget crunch."
