This chart from The Economist lists how frustrated international workers are with the commute times in their countries. The U.S. ranks surprisingly low.

China tops the list, with the longest commute times and the most people who've considered leaving their jobs because of the commute.

"The misery of commuting is common to most of the globe. According to a recent survey of 11,000 people in 13 countries by Regus, a consultancy, a fifth of commuters around the world have considered quitting because of the time taken to travel to their workplaces."
