Villagomez expresses reservations about planners and government having a heavy hand when it comes to what gets built, but finds a lot to praise in the new False Creek apartment complex.

The "extroversion" "was achieved by breaking away from the traditional building type model and introducing glass wrapped elevators and stair towers at corners, mid-floorplate and corridor ends. Not only was this intended to increase the safety of streets and building interiors, but also to animate the public realm that would now have a new strong visual connection to those circulating within."
