Sierra Club global warming and energy specialist Jesse Prentice Dunn writes, "As I recently blogged, TIGER grants announced this week will fund transportation infrastructure projects that help build the foundation of a more efficient transportation system that reduces global warming pollution. In particular,biking and pedestrian infrastructure were big winners, with 24 of the 51 funded projects including some biking or walking component. Two grants in particular will fund bicycling and walking infrastructure networks in Philadelphia, PA, and Indianapolis, IN."
