"Participatory Chinatown" is a computer game designed to increase public participation in the planning process in Boston.
From The Boston Globe: "The game, which goes live this week at participatorychinatown.org, is a joint initiative by the new media program at Emerson College, the Asian Community Development Corporation, and the Metropolitan Area Planning Council. One phase of the game asks players to look at the neighborhood through the eyes of a fictitious character seeking work, social interaction, or a place to live. Another phase asks players to offer ideas for underdeveloped land between Chinatown and the South End."
